Lease Hire Provides the Starting Blocks for Expansion, Says Machinery World 21 Jun 2011
As a new or expanding business, making a profitable impact in a highly competitive market is always a difficult task, especially when financial constraints are factored in. As a result, experts in sourcing and selling high quality second-hand dairy machinery, Machinery World, is adapting to post recessional industry requirements by offering lease hire services across its range of stock machinery.
Machinery is without doubt the single largest expense when starting or expanding a dairy manufacturing business. It is this large initial outlay and associated risk which is inhibiting entrepreneurial spirit within the industry and causing many small businesses to stay as they are – halting the progression of new business ideas.
Machinery World is, however, now offering rental services across its range of in-stock second-hand machinery as well as the new, premium machinery of its sister company, ROKK, as a means of increasing the available options open to manufacturers within the industry.
Buying machinery in the first instant is not always feasible and although not ideal in the long term, renting machinery allows businesses to get their expansion plans underway – providing them with the flexibility of getting the machinery without a large investment of capital.
Paul Crowter, founder and managing director of Machinery World, commented: “In a post recessional economy, businesses are understandably wary about parting with large sums of money, and as a result, many will be putting expansion plans off until there’s more stability. However, we’re offering the opportunity for businesses to expand, or establish themselves, without the risk of investing, at times, hundreds of thousands of pounds.
“In the short term, through renting machinery, businesses have the opportunity to progress and get a feel for likely profit margins whilst paying a monthly sum for their machinery. Once businesses have these figures at hand, it makes buying machinery, secondhand or new, a more calculated investment.”
Machinery World offers rental services (all over the UK) on 6 to 12 month contracts at prices starting from £250 per month.
