Machinery World Appointed as Official UK Cattabriga Sales and Service Centre  19 May 2011


Experts in sourcing and selling high quality secondhand dairy machinery, Machinery World, has been appointed as official sales and service centre for Cattabriga, the first brand in the world to design and manufacture artisanal ice-cream machines.

 

Cattabriga was established over 80 years ago and has ever since been synonymous with creating machinery with the ability to imitate the technique of traditional, home-made processing. Cattabriga also manufacture batch freezers, pasteurisers, cream whipping machines and soft gelato machines.
 
 
Paul Crowter, managing director of Machinery World, commented: “I’ve been a huge fan of Cattabriga ever since I started out in this industry and I’m delighted that we’ve been chosen as sales and service centre for Cattabriga.”
 
Cattabriga ice cream machines are targeted towards the more chef-type, home-made producer as opposed to an industrial, automated, manufacturing approach, and as a result has opened a new market for Machinery World.
 
Paul continued: “In the UK, many smaller producers use these ‘artisanal’ machines to produce similar products to those made by the industrial makers where others opt use them to make the ice cream parlour type ice cream. Either way, the end product really is of an exceptionally high standard and the machines themselves are extremely cost effective.”
 
Machinery World is perfectly placed to distribute the Cattabriga machinery anywhere in the UK having been in the business for over ten years. In addition, Machinery World has a team of experienced service engineers, fully trained in both electrics and refrigeration, on the road and on call 24 hours a day should they be required.
 
Cattabriga now join the ranks alongside GEA, Soren, ROKK & Promag in Machinery World’s extending list of new ice cream machinery.
